The HM-514, 4-inch Ejector is a Gilson sample ejector for compacted soil or asphalt specimens.
The HM-514 handles 4 in soil compaction or Marshall asphalt molds. A 12,000 lbf hydraulic jack with a 5.75 in stroke is mounted in a three-column plated-steel reaction frame.
The adjustable frame accepts mold lengths up to 11.75 in. The spring-loaded piston returns to the start position when the release valve is opened, and adapter rings and extruder discs can be changed for compatible mold sizes.
