Compact Gilson Universal Mini-Splitter for splitting powders and granular materials with top sizes up to 0.25 in (6 mm).
The Gilson Universal Mini-Splitter is a portable benchtop riffle splitter for reducing powders and granular samples into representative portions before testing.
The spring-loaded gate release hopper distributes material evenly across 48 adjustable 0.125 in (3 mm) chute bars set at a 60 degree chute angle. The 104 in3 (1.7 L) hopper capacity and included sample pans support repeatable splitting of small lab samples.
The SP-3 configuration uses a stainless steel hopper and frame with anodized aluminum chute bars and sample pans. The SP-33 configuration is an all-stainless version for applications where added durability or reduced contamination risk is preferred.
