The Digital Tank Heater uses an extra external sensor to monitor water temperature and to gauge water level. By placing your sensor away from the heater, your sensor won’t be thrown off during heating.

The external sensor has an easy-to-use calibration system in order to keep it accurate throughout the year. It also has an audible alarm system for when your water level drops or when the temperature falls too far out of range.

The plastic cage protects the rod from damage and none of the temperature sensors use bi-metallic contacts in order to protect from shocks.

As an added bonus, the thermometer has a built-in power fail mode that saves the last temperature setting and applies it when the power comes back on.
